Patel Group established in 1968. It is founded by Nanji Bhanji Patel. In the history of Patel Group, which was founded by Nanji Bhanji Patel and his two son’s Valji Nanji Patel and Mohanlal Nanji Patel. Yes, the first seed of the group, has been sown in the year 1968, at Shencottah which lies along the Eastern Slope of Western Ghats in a conducive environment for timber trading of teak logs from Kerala auction by the government. This business spread our company throughout India with name and fame. In the year 1980 our first company Patel Saw Mill was established and timber was brought from Assam and Kerala to Shencottah and sold throughout India. The company had made vast range of customers in Tamilnadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

In the successive years, the developmental progression of the unit was outreached and strengthened by the eminent personality brothers with their long term vision and operational strategic missions to establish the name and fame of this entity and the two brothers had been given separate companies to operate by their father’s advice. Then the old parent company had been given to Mohanlal Nanji Patel to take over the company. Then other new companies had been formed in the name of Patel Timber Depot in the year 1986 and New Patel Saw Mill in the year 1992 for first import of logs from Malaysia.

The foundation stone of “ Patel Group ” was laid by the pioneers who have decades of experience in timber trading as their long-established profession. With dedication in work, tireless service and honest business dealings, now Patel Group has wide spread its branches of business communications in Shencottah, Tuticorin Port, Chennai Port, Gandhidham, Kandla Port (Gujarat).
Today Patel Group stands and renders the best of its services through their two sons Amruthlal Patel and Kishore Patel who are well established in the timber trading of round logs and sizes.
